From my inner child to yours
Amora's story is rooted in the warm memories of my childhood. My father has been a beekeeper and farmer for as long as I can remember, and I grew up surrounded by the magic of bees and nature in general. As a child, he taught me how to make beeswax candles, and that's how I connected with molding wax and the warmth of my hands. These were precious moments of transforming wax into light.
On days when he went to the field to tend to the hives, I would take the opportunity to collect flowers and leaves that I carefully dried, believing I could perform great magic with what I harvested. These connections shaped the way I see the world today and create my pieces for you.
If on one side I had my father and his bees, on the other side I had my dear mother who always worked as a seamstress. I remember loving to sew small pillows for my dolls and that from an early age, aesthetics were something very intrinsic to me. Brought as a gift from the woman who gave me life, who always showed me the importance of creating something beautiful with my own hands.
Interestingly, the name Amora also came from a dichotomy between childhood memories and adolescent memories. From summer memories, while my father tended to the hives, my sister and I would pick wild blackberries, filling our hands with sweetness and color. And later, when art had more form in my life, some friends began to say I had the face of a blackberry (Amora), and gradually, this name made more and more sense in my life.
The stories that emerge, the possible meanings of things, and mother nature herself are the essence of the brand.
From dreaming child to creative adult
As a child and teenager, art was my greatest vehicle of expression, of what words couldn't translate. I was a very dreamy girl, I remember attributing meanings and symbolism to everything I found or created with my own hands. Thus, from the magic of this inner child and the creative force that prevails in her, the Amora brand was born – a force that continues to inspire me.
My creations in their interdisciplinarity have a single objective: to be vehicles of inspiration, transporting you to more moments of well-being and inner warmth. Some call them "food for the soul," like wild fruits that sweeten the heart, bringing the warmth of summer.
